Spunbond polyester mat is a kind of non-woven fabric, and can also be called polyester base fabric, felt base fabric, SBS/APP waterproof base fabric. Polyester felt base fabric is a non-woven fabric product made of polyester staple fibers through processes such as combing into a net, needle punching reinforcement, and dipping and shaping. It is cloth-shaped, generally with a width of 1020mm, a length of 900m-1650m, and a thickness of 0.6-1.9mm. It is the main base cloth of the currently popular waterproof membrane SBS, APP coating.

Advantages:

It has the characteristics of high tensile strength, good anti-aging with thermal stability, good permeability, and high elongation. Routine product tests should be carried out in accordance with standard tests, and detailed tests have been carried out on thermal stability, bending, permeability, and moisture resistance.

Spunbond polyester mat is widely used as the reinforcing base for rolled asphalt roofing and waterproofing membranes, especially used as the tire base of asphalt waterproof membranes (SBS, APP coating), the high tear strength of the spunbond polyester contributes to the dimensional stability & elasticity of the asphalt roofing to improve the performance of waterproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion in roofing underlayments, roofing insulation or commercial built-up roofing systems, bridge engineering, storage pool and other construction systems.
